For decades, we’ve created new, restored old, and enhanced existing landscapes for thousands of clients around southeastern Wisconsin. Brian Thomas
Horticulturist, Landscape Designer, Arborist
Brian has been a landscape designer with Johnson’s Nursery for 13 years, using his extensive knowledge of arboriculture and horticulture to create incredible outdoor environments. Brian combines his understanding and love of trees and plants with a creative eye, mixing foliage, color, size, and texture to produce beautiful designs. Brian encourages the use of native plants wherever possible and enjoys working with clients to find the right balance to achieve beautiful, sustainable, and functional landscapes.
Carrie Hennessy
Horticulturist, Landscape Designer
Carrie has been with Johnson’s Nursery since 2008. Carrie leads the team in residential and softscape projects. Carrie is an on-screen personality with numerous how-to videos, a public speaker and educator, and is a major contributor to Johnson’s Nursery’s knowledgebase.


Jillian Zetting
Horticulturist, Landscape Designer
Jillian has been with Johnson’s Nursery for 29 years, beginning as a landscape installation crew member, advancing to foreperson, and then putting her love of plants and her education in landscape design to work as a designer. Her passion for plants and desire to help people create great outdoor spaces is what drives Jillian. She is a proponent of incorporating native plants into landscapes, using local ecotype species not only for their beauty but to help preserve our local ecosystem.
