Since 1959, Johnson’s Nursery has been growing up in your back yard. We believe in the social responsibility to balance profit-making activities with behaviors that benefit local communities and the environment. We aim to help enrich schools, neighborhoods and the lives of families in the communities in which we live and work.

A Local Impact

Johnson’s Nursery is active in the local community and green industry. We proudly support our communities and environment, donating at least $25,000 annually to a variety of local initiatives, such as youth sports, schools, churches, restoration, botanical gardens, STEM, community betterment groups, land trusts, nature centers, hospitals, education funds, industry not-for-profits, and associations.

Financial, product, and service donations are essential resources that help not-for-profit organizations achieve their missions. We contribute to local organizations that are making a meaningful impact. Here are a few of our partners:

Native Plant Appreciation Month

Johnson’s Nursery teams up with Wild Ones every June. During the entire month, members receive 40% off Wisconsin native plants. Johnson’s Nursery then donates a percentage of sales back to the organization.

Supporting Local Armed Forces

To express admiration and appreciation for your service in the United States Armed Forces, Johnson’s Nursery extends a year-round 15% discount on plants to Veterans while selecting plants through our Retail & Landscape Departments.

Johnson’s Nursery teams up with the Waukesha County Land Conservancy to support their mission and offer a discount to their members. Since 1992, the Waukesha County Land Conservancy has worked at fulfilling its mission of protecting and caring for environmentally significant land and water in Waukesha County for future generations.

Growing Up Together

Congratulations! To commemorate your bundle of joy, we’re offering 25% off any one plant to new Mothers. Although trees are the most common choice, you may choose perennial, shrub, or tree. Take a picture each season of your child growing alongside the tree!
